A very big thank you to all those who bought the cny goodies frm me or wanted to sign up for the credit card. Its greatly appreciated. And i should say, like sf, i'm super proud of our 16-0h-6 clique. Cos the bulk of it comes from them and they are those who are willing to help with no strings attached. Seriously, i should say even my uni friends are not like them! Not that they do not want to help, but they will think very long or procrastinate in doing things. Oh well, i'm glad to say that i'm proud to be a 16/06-er. hee (:
The new year is coming.. 2008 has seriously passed by quickly. I think i have spent the time in 2008 well.. Its time to embrace a whole new 2009. Lets count up tonight alright! haha (cos my mum was saying that it is more positive to be counting up.. haha) (:

So, results day came. Quite emotionaless cos its all part and parcel of uni life. I think what makes a fulfilling uni life is not just on the grades, the GPA score that we have at the end of the day and rather. Instead, we should ask ourself what have we done during the 3/4 years of life as an undergraduate that is significant and that when we look back in 5 or 10 years time, we will know that we had led a very fulfilling and enriching uni life.
My sec and JC life has never been significant.. I was always doing tut after tut and wasnt really active in CCAs. So, looking back at those days, i would say i have never achieve much. So what if we do well in tests. I think if we compare between someone who is inactive but scores super well in exams and someone who leads an active jc life but scores ok only in exams, i think i'll prefer the latter one. Afterall, these education years is short and after a few more years, i'll be slogging my butt off in the workplace that i am in. So, my aim for these 3 years is to have slightly above average GPA grades and to try things that i have never done b4! Study smart and play hard at the same time (:
Okk.. Just came back from the gym. Really out of shape now since i havent been exercising and ihg is coming.. eek. Talking abt plain laziness. I want to go to the new jp.. there is starbucks and the ntuc is 24 hrs! hahaha!

HELLO (:
Its been a long lone long long time since i've updated. haha
So, holidays are coming to an end now! Starting school soon.. and the new timetable that i have is quite horrible.. Alot of 8.30 classes, and classes are one after another. Like frm 8.30 all the way to 2.30! if not then i have only one lesson/lec in one day. so not balanced. But since all my lessons start super early, i get to go back hall early and rest. I just love nuaing alone in hall in the afternoon. LOL.
So, what have i been doing during the holidays. Lets see..
Meetups / outings (and my mum was still quite mad cos i went back at 5 am aft kbox session with hall ppl. she kept saying this when she nags at me!) / movies (lots of it.. till one time that i watched almost ALL the movies that were screening in the cinema. and i must, i must say, TWILIGHT IS <3 ! lol) / tried mambo for the first time / busy finding ideas to raise funds for hab (in the end we are selling cny cookies and promoting credit card for students. So, help me a little and buy some from me!) / shopping (lots of it and there is sales everywhere due to recession.) / korea (the things there are really CHEAP. one top for $5, one pair of shoes for $10. So cheap till the extend that i bought 3 pairs of shoes at one go and a few tops! haha) / Genting (booked it in the last minute.. took a plane there but we couldnt buy alcoholic drinks when we arrived in Singapore.. cos they said the flight to msia isnt international. like wth. haha.. Genting was quite boring.. cos i havent hit the min age req to enter the casino and the rest of the games are quite kiddy..So, shopped a bit there and played pool, bowling, and sang karaoke most of the time.. haha. i learned to play pool properly. omg!) / christmas celebration with 16/06 -ers (this is the first time i have eaten such nice bbq chicken wings! cos normally the chicken wings will always be uncooked. and the guys did all the bbqing. bx's self invention is quite nice too - cheese plus hotdog, plus bacon wrapped around it.haha. I guess ns has trained them to be better cooks or sth.. A big contrast frm last yr's bbq! Really really thanks for such nice bbq food and sorry that the girls didnt bbq much! hee)
I can't wait to take part in the sundown marathon with wy! Its going to be fun running at night! whee hahaha
