Unofficially moved into hall 10 yesterday.. Unofficial as the office doesn't noe that i've alrdy started to move in.. Lol. Shared the key with wenxin for the time being..cos if i collect the keys before 1 aug, i have to pay $7 extra everyday.. haha. I just wanted to go there earlier to clean up the room and start putting some of my things there, so that the room will be habitable when i go for my camp tmr.. haha.. so wenxin and i started cleaning the room yst.. I bought like broom, mop etc, like i'm moving house.. the room didn't look that dirty when we first stepped in but once we started cleaning, all the dust started coming out.. haha. My mum was there to help too. She commented that i cleaned too slowly as compared to wenxin.. Well, its considered quite an achievement alrdy okay, considering the fact that i bothered to mop and clean the room.. Didn't see wenxin's dad cos he jux put her down there.. But saw their car from afar.. Easily recognisable cos their car plate was "PHUA *** " haha.. Actually i still have lots of clothes to bring there cos the clothes that i bought yesterday are mostly for the camp.. But seriously,i don't really noe when i'll officially stay there cos i don't really noe the time table yet, like is it very packed for the first week or i don't really have any lessons on the first week. Cos if i dun really have many lessons, wouldn't i feel very bored if i stay in the hostel? haha.

When my mum drove me to ntu yesterday, i realised that we took only appx o.5 hrs, compared to the 1.5 hrs of taking bus, change to train, then change to bus again.. See the drastic difference.. Actaully its quite good to drive there, other than the fact that we do not have the spare cash to buy a car plus i may not pass the test again(i hope i do pass though).

Okay, I hope that i'll meet nice people tomorrow.. Plus 16/06 should have a gathering soon.. All u people, don't be soooo busy lahh.. :D

HELLO :) Long time since i last blogged.. Okay. Basically, nth much is going on in my life right now.. Have been going out, watching movies, shopping, eating.. hmm.. stayed at home quite often too - so often to the extend that i have watched four times of the movie "She's the Man" on Starmovie in a week. Cos they keep playing that movie and i have got nothing to do.. I even got so bored that i read every pieces of the article on the newspapers.. haha.. :p But take note, i'm not complaining.. cos i want to enjoy every moment of this slacking-ness. I may not have the time to do so when school starts and since i'll be staying in the hostel, i may not have tha chance to just laze around the house anymore..

Went out with my mum and aunt last friday.. Ate at Pariss and sang kbox.. Super cool to have Kbox session with them.. And they started singing all the pop song too.. haha.. And i just commented that its good to be single (cos my aunt is single) as we will have the spare cash to do wadever we feel like doing.. And my mum was super shocked at my idea and kept telling me that one has to get married. And i was like, "okayy.. Then i shall not have any children! I can also spend on wadever i like then.. " lol. Then my mum went on and on by saying that one must have child etc etc. I guess my mum's idea of an ideal life is to find a bf in uni, come out to work to graduate for a few years, get married and give birth ard the age of 30.. hmm..

Okay. enough of that. Wenxin and i are allocated to hall 10.. Its like super far from our faculties.. cos its nearer to the NIE side.. Wahh.. I still thought that by staying in the hostel, I can wake up late, and leave the hostel 5 mins b4 school starts.. haiz.. Have to take shuttle bus.. cos bus 199, which can be taken at hall 10's bus stop, will not take me to NBS.. Its still better than travelling 1.5 hr to school everyday.. :p I think hall life should be quite interesting.. My parents decided to go to NTU to take a look last Sunday.. So, its quite fast if we travelled by car - half an hr. And my dad's comment upon seeing the hostel was why like that?!?haha.. And he kept telling us that he's very familiar with NTU cos he often used to go there to eat. lol.

People kept asking me, "Since you didn't go for FOC, how are you going to know more friends?" I too have my fear that people will be in their cliques once school starts.. and i have once asked wy, since u have to plan ur own timetable and different ppl wants to do different courses, plus lectures are of different timings, wouldn't it be difficult to have close friends?? hmm..

Hall camp next week plus driving test (gasp!) Hope i don't get a nasty tester again.. Even if i do get one, I shall rise to the challenge :p

Btw, everyone should watch The Dark knight.. Its good.. :)

I have a sudden craving for NY cheesecake.. One day i shall fly over to NY to eat it. haha

I'm back from Taipei :)

Other than the extremely hot and humid weather, I should say i enjoyed myself.. But i think it will be more fun if a huge grp of us went there.. haha

So, we went to jiu fen, dan shui, shi lin night market, wu fen pu, ps bu bu restaurant, places to see the rock, changing of guards, ding tai feng (cos it is originated from there), leo foo village... We tried alot of different type of food.. Ah zhong mian xian, ji pai, ji dan gao etc etc. And we love the mango there :) aah. mango ice cream, mango ice.. The clothes there are super cheap too.. :) Can get nice clothes for $15, nice shorts for $5.. haha. But i think the best part is the sunset at dan shui (that was my first time i saw a sunset. ) plus being able to watch hsiao jing teng xing ge fa biao hui there too.. their stage was super big and grand jux for this event. cos it wasn't even a concert.. The hotel is quite small (but i guess all taiwan hotels which are cheap are ard this size) and there is no windows.. but i lurvee the tv there.. 100 over channels and so i'll watch my meteor garden every night haha but it seems that there is little censorship cos there are some channels which show RA shows.. like so openly.. lol

I can sense the disappoinment in my brother's eyes, in my mum's eyes too. I'm aso feeling a little disappointed. Cos my bro has injured his leg.. guess train too much or sth.. so he couldn't compete this coming Thurs. Afterall, he has trained super long for this competition.. but yes, its better to not compete than to come in last in the race.. And who noes it will aggrevate the injury and his leg will give him problem in future.. Well, thats life. Always the unexpected things happen..

And sth happened today. My mum knocked into another car @ bedok that area.. She was sending my bro n sis to school. So, towards bedok view that stretch of road, from temasek pri, she wanted to overtake a car but hit onto it. (She said that she saw it was all clear) So, my sis had to take cab to school as she had exam.. nd to go up that silly slope to AHS from there, it cost her $4 plus. Its expensive these days. And since my bro had to go to ecp for cross country, the lady whose car got hit followed my mum to ECP.. otherwise my bro will be late. Then after that, she asked my mum if my dad wanted to go tgt to the car repair shop. So, she followed my mum to our house first b4 heading to the garage. Super weird and funny.. lol. So, my mum had to pay more that $1000 cos the back part was damaged and since her car is frm parallel importer, its difficult to find that spare part. But, my dad's car had only a scratch which could come off easily.. So, later in the afternoon, when my mum went to pick my sis up, she saw an accident too @ ard the same place.. But its the car itself which hit onto the poles, which is the govt property. And it seems that there is no cars ard at that time. So, my mum was saying that the road is "dirty" haha. Such things happen often on the road. No wonder the tester was super strict with me when i took my test!! (Cos he deducted all the points on the safety aspect)

First day of not having to report to work.. So woke up rather late, went parkway, have swenson for tea, bought a mango jacket, went jogging, went to marina square, had swenson again for supper.. haha.

Had a rather refreshing jog today.. jogged from marine parade hdb blocks there to the end of ecp (towards mountbatten that area). Then in order to lose more weight, i then walked frm jas's house to my home.. haha. I'm glad that there is jasmine to jog with me.. :)

1 more day to taipei. :)
